An extensive permanent Holocaust Exhibition was opened in the Imperial War Museum on June 6, 2000. A stone memorial in a small grove of in the southeastern portion of Hyde Park, known as the Holocaust Memorial Garden, was dedicated in 1983. In 2006 a statue commemorating the nearly 10,000 refugee children who found homes in England as part of the Kindertransport operation (1938-39) was unveiled at the Liverpool Street rail station.
